Work with us

I’ve spent most of my working life in the nonprofit sector, drawn to work that sits at the intersection of social justice, systems, and real people living real lives. I currently serve as Executive Director of a provincial nonprofit housing association, a role I was interested in not just for the issue itself, but for the opportunity to help build something sustainable from the ground up—strong governance, clear decision-making, and succession planning that allows an organization to endure change rather than constantly react to it.

Much of my work has involved navigating complexity: limited resources, competing priorities, evolving funding landscapes, and the very human realities that shape organizations from the inside. I’m interested in how organizations function over the long term, how leadership transitions are handled (or avoided), and how values actually show up in practice—not just in mission statements.

Alongside my current role, I’m available for consulting, coaching, and contract work with nonprofits, boards, and mission-driven organizations. This might look like governance support, leadership coaching, strategic thinking, facilitation, or acting as a thought partner for leaders who need space to think clearly and honestly about what comes next.

My approach is practical, reflective, and grounded in lived experience. I don’t offer tidy formulas or motivational slogans. I do offer perspective, good questions, and a steady hand for people working in imperfect systems who still want to do meaningful work.

This site is also a place for my writing—where I explore work, family, estrangement, chronic pain, leadership, and the ways our personal histories intersect with the systems we move through every day.
